Six answers before your call
Why is there a planning fee?
The $1,000 fee covers custom research, route design, supplier comparisons, a cost summary and a coordinated itinerary. It pays for planning work separately from the travel you purchase. Your consultation is complimentary. You review and accept a written planning proposal before paying.
What happens in the consultation?
We discuss your possible dates, departure city, traveler count, total travel budget and preferred comfort level. Bring your questions and must-see places. We assess the route and agree what to investigate before you decide whether to proceed.
How will travel be booked?
Your written proposal sets out the planning scope and booking process. Supplier prices and inventory require confirmation. Assisted booking or an operator-supported itinerary can be discussed, but is offered only where the required arrangements and authorizations are in place. Never send payment-card information through email or this website.
How does eclipse day fit into the route?
We work backward from August 2, 2027, allowing time to arrive in Luxor and prepare. The plan considers viewing access, transport, shade and hydration. Specific viewing arrangements require confirmation. Weather and visibility cannot be guaranteed.
Which travel style suits me?
The Focused, Signature and Private Grand samples show different lengths and comfort preferences. Sleeper rail, domestic air, guiding and hotel choices depend on the route and current availability. For solo travelers, we discuss appropriate guided or operator-supported options before agreeing the planning scope.
Can I add Jordan or get help preparing?
Petra and the Dead Sea can be explored as a separately priced extension. We can discuss a pre-departure preparation call and an entry-requirements checklist as part of your written scope. You remain responsible for current passport and visa requirements and insurance decisions.
